Judge Jill Ganus is running to be your new judge of the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals (Place 2). Jill wants your support in the primary on March 3rd and the general election November 3rd.
Jill Ganus has been ranked highly qualified by the Birmingham Bar Association. Her judicial career spans more than 8 years, and her legal expertise was honed during 16 years as a prosecutor in Jefferson and Tuscaloosa counties, as well as 5 years in private practice.
Jill is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where she cheered on the Tide as Captain of the Varsity Cheer-leading Squad. Ganus also received her JD from the University of Alabama. Her Areas of Expertise are in Evidence and Criminal Law.
Jill is commited to serving the State of Alabama and has done so through her service on the boards of a number of local non-profit organizations, such as Childcare Resources, Hoover City Board of Education, and both the Hoover and Legacy YMCA. She has also been a member of the Jefferson County GOP, and she attends Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church in McCalla, AL.

A veteran judge and prosecutor is back on the bench in Jefferson County.
Gov. Kay Ivey has appointed Jill Ganus to the position of Jefferson County District Judge in the Bessemer Cutoff.
